REDcert. The German-rooted scheme serving both EU obligations and the national German bookkeeping, with its own chain of custody rules. redcert.org

GROFOR e.V. The German Association of the Wholesale Trade in Oils, Fats and Oil Raw Materials, founded in 1916. Sustainable Commodities is a member. GROFOR publishes standard trading conditions and runs its own arbitration tribunal. grofor.de
Standards and test methods
ASTM International. Publisher of the test methods and specifications cited across this site, from pyrolysis oil characterisation to biodiesel quality. astm.org
CEN (European Committee for Standardization). Home of EN 14214 (biodiesel), EN 15940 (paraffinic diesel) and the European standards referenced in every specification. cencenelec.eu

Because a knowledge base without verifiable sources is marketing, not information. Every regulation we cite, every scheme we reference and every standard we quote has a primary source, and we link to it. Check us.

Depends on your stream: RED III for anything entering the fuel chain, the waste shipment regulation for anything moving as waste, the animal byproduct rules for fats, and the packaging regulation for plastics. All linked above at their source.

On how we work: on the feedstocks and fuels on this site we are a broker. We never take title, we do not trade our own book, and we are paid a commission on business that concludes. Additives are the one exception: those we also buy and sell for our own account, and we say in which capacity we are acting before you commit to anything. Either way you will hear it from us when the answer is no, or when your parcel is not ready for the conversation you want to have. A market read or a second opinion on a specification costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
