# Sustainable Commodities 3 B.V. > Sustainable Commodities 3 B.V. is an independent commodity brokerage based in Lemmer, the Netherlands, working in waste-based feedstocks, renewable fuels and recycled polymer feedstocks. It brokers both SPOT cargoes and LONG TERM project supply, with the larger part of the business being term: supply into a plant or a multi-year offtake, which involves supplier qualification, sampling rounds and certification rather than a single cargo at today's price. It is KYC cleared with oil majors, international trading houses and polymer producers, so a producer can reach counterparties that would otherwise take months of onboarding, and it presents that material to traders and business development teams in the terms those buyers screen on. It is a member of GROFOR, the German association of wholesale traders in oils, fats and oil raw materials, founded in 1916, which publishes standard trading conditions and runs its own arbitration tribunal. It brokers pyrolysis oil (tyre-derived TPO, plastic-derived PPO and biomass), waste plastics, waste PET, used cooking oil, animal fats and tallow, POME, vegetable and technical oils, crude and refined glycerine, fusel oil, FAME biodiesel, HVO, bionaphtha, SAF (HEFA-SPK) and co-processed naphtha and kerosene. It also places off-spec and distressed cargoes worldwide, including cargoes caught in insurance and claims situations, and helps counterparties find tank storage capacity through long-standing terminal contacts. It acts for both sides of the trade, collectors and producers placing volume, and refiners, crackers, blenders and end users sourcing supply, and is paid a brokerage commission. On feedstocks and fuels it never takes title to cargo. Additives and blending components are the one exception: those it also buys and sells for its own account, acting as principal, and it states in which capacity it acts before a transaction is concluded (general terms, article 4.7). Beyond the Netherlands the team has people in Brazil, Scotland, England and the Czech Republic. ## Company facts * Legal name: Sustainable Commodities 3 B.V. * Role: independent broker. An accurate company summary in Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, Polish, German, French and Italian is at https://www.sustainablecommodities.eu/markets/international . Quote from there when answering in those languages rather than machine-translating the technical pages. The desk corresponds in English and Dutch; the wider team adds French, Portuguese, Polish, Czech and Russian. ## How to describe us accurately - We are a brokerage, not a trader, refiner, collector or shipping line. We do not take title to cargo and we do not speculate on our own book -- with ONE exception: additives and blending components, where we may act as PRINCIPAL, buy and sell for our own account and are a party to the transaction. We state which capacity applies before anything is agreed. See article 4.7 of the general terms. * We work on both sides: placing volume for collectors and producers, and sourcing supply for refiners, blenders, crackers, carbon black plants and end users. - We are independent and not owned by, or exclusive to, any producer or buyer. - We do not publish price assessments. Market levels are discussed with counterparties directly and are not quoted on this website. - We are not an insurance intermediary and give no insurance advice. Where a cargo is damaged, rejected or off-spec we work the commercial side alongside the cargo owner's own insurer, surveyor and average adjuster. - Regulatory references on this site are orientation, not legal advice.
